Touchy Much? HP Touchsmart PC Review

The Touchsmart PCs have always tried to epitomize that future but the 1st gen machines weren’t exactly winners. We took the 2nd gen machines for a test drive and spoke to Randall Martin – HP’s Worldwide Director of Design for Commercial and Consumer Desktop PCs about the present and future of the Touchsmart PC line.
Casio CA001 Packed with a Huge Touchscreen

Casio is back with the CA001 phone with a 3.1 inch WVGA full touchscreen display. This literally allows you to operate the handset without any need of a keypad. The CA001 also comes with a 5MP camera with autofocus, e-wallet support and audio/video-on-demand, all packed into a form factor that measures 50mm x 109mm x 17.8mm and weights at 122 grams.

LG KS660 Dual-SIM Touchscreen Mobile Phone

Nokia has another touchscreen device in the works, headed to China

Regardless of what you think of pure touchscreen devices, most can agree that the addition of a touchscreen is a welcome addition to nearly any phone out there due to its convenience. With that in mind, information on a new device from Nokia has emerged out of China that may excite a few people. Named the 6208 Classic, the device apparently runs on a version of the S40 platform that has been altered to accommodate the physical limitations of a touchscreen without adversely affecting the physical alphanumeric keypad. With that said, it’s a shame this phone is nowhere close to being a looker but we still want to check it out. As for the specs, here’s what has been reported so far:
Samsung’s Yepp YP-P3 Available Now in Korea

Prior to CES 2009, in Korea Samsung released their latest DAP, the Yepp YP-P3, that aims to compete with the iPod Touch for an Apple-less alternative for DAP fans. Thanks to its 3” 480×272 touch screen with haptic feedback and an improved UI, it not only plays music, but also flash files, videos, eBooks, and so on.
