Medion plods onwards with three new GPS systems

Medion has just announced a trio of new personal navigation devices (PNDs) which will come with their own AuthenTec fingerprint sensor which is meant to enhance user security and deter device theft, shipping in selected European markets. This is not new, as Medion was the pioneer when it comes to rolling out the first fingerprint-enabled PND in the world last year, so seeing three more models join its solitary brother in the marketplace shows that there is a demand for such a feature – either that or Medion is trying to create the demand itself. The three PNDs that we’ll look at today will be the GoPal P5235, P5435 and X5535.

Navigon unveils two new GPS navigation devices

Navigon is no stranger when it comes to GPS navigation devices, and this time they have a couple more systems that will find a place in their respective target markets. The two devices in question are the Navigon 5100 max and the Navigon 2090S, and both models are sold exclusively at RadioShack stores and its online shop, RadioShack.com. For those who have yet to pick up a GPS navigation device, rest assured that the basics are included in either device here, accompanied by Navigon’s newest generation of fast and easy to use software, coupled with regular map updates via Navigon FreshMaps.
