LG GB106 Mobile Phone Launched
LG has announced the launch of a new entry level LG GB106 mobile phone which is a tri-band GSM network ready candybar style handset features 1.5-inch 65K colors TFT display and integrated FM Radio.
LG GB106 mobile phone is a triband GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 MHz handset which offers 1.5-inch, 65K colors, 128 x 128 pixels resolution TFT color display in candy bar style design and is equipped with five-way D-pad control for most of the basic functions.
The new entry level LG GB106 mobile phone has 1.5-MB internal memory allowing upto 500 entries phonebook with photo call feature allowing upto 10 dialed, 10 received, 10 missed calls records and 100 SMS message memory. The budget priced phone does not offer support for Memory Card Slot for expanded memory.
The LG GB106 handset also feature built-in handsfree Speakerphone and offers option for Hindi language SMS and Menu.
The LG GB106 mobilephone also sports integrated FM radio which offers 20 station memory for quick station access. The phone does not offers option for FM live recording.
Available in Black color, the new LG GB106 mobile phone does not sports any MP3 player or digital camera but is equipped with GPRS class 10 connection with upto 48 kbps speed and comes with WAP 2.0 and xHTML browser data connectivity. The handset does not offer USB port for wired data connectivity. The phone supports polyphonic ringtones along with MP3 ringtones.
LG GB106 comes with few games and application offered with this handset includes World Time, Stopwatch, Calandar and a simple Organizer.
The LG GB106 mobilephone comes with standard Li-Ion 950 mAh battery which offers upto 400 hrs of standby time and upto 4 hours of talk time at full charge.
