Sony Ericsson has confirmed the new affordable W395 Walkman phone that has a 2MP camera, Bluetooth, a couple of stereo speakers, dedicated control keys for music, and FM Radio. Each purchase will come with a 1GB memory card and HPM-64 Stereo headset. The W395 Walkman supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and will be available in selected markets from Q1 in the Dusky Grey and Blush Titanium.

One glance at how the Sony Premier 3 Walkman opens up and it reminds me of the Nokia N93 when it was first released, featuring a dual-hinge system that folds in two ways, depending on the type of function that you want to access. The pink color associated with this Sony release will appeal to selected folks, and what makes it interesting is the ability to rip CDs directly via its 3.5mm hack. Unfortunately, Sony engineers seemed to have overlooked one crucial factor – storage. The use of a regular microSD memory card slot limits this to a mere 2GB of storage space, so you go figure.
