It’s been a while since we did not talked about a Japanese PNS (Portable Navigation System)… So just let’s correct this and let’s talk about the MoveOn NVG-M1… This is definitively not the slimmest PNS available in Japan but with its 11.95mm thick, this NVG-M1 is worth talking about.?Made only to be used in Japan, our PNS featurea 3.5” QVGA screen with a size of 74.7×95.6×11.95mm for a weight of 106g only.?Our NVG-M1 has 2GB of internal memory but also receive a microSD card slot. On the side you can use your NVG-M1 has a DAP since our little PNS support both MP3 and WMA files as well as JPEG files.

Medion plods onwards with three new GPS systems

Medion has just announced a trio of new personal navigation devices (PNDs) which will come with their own AuthenTec fingerprint sensor which is meant to enhance user security and deter device theft, shipping in selected European markets. This is not new, as Medion was the pioneer when it comes to rolling out the first fingerprint-enabled PND in the world last year, so seeing three more models join its solitary brother in the marketplace shows that there is a demand for such a feature – either that or Medion is trying to create the demand itself. The three PNDs that we’ll look at today will be the GoPal P5235, P5435 and X5535.

Navigon unveils two new GPS navigation devices

Navigon is no stranger when it comes to GPS navigation devices, and this time they have a couple more systems that will find a place in their respective target markets.
